  • Service details: Location, date/time preferences, budget, specific instructions, photos of the worksite or items.

  • Payment details: Card or payment method (processed via third-party secure payment processors; we do not store full card numbers).

  • Optional: Feedback, ratings, photos, or special requests.

We do not collect Social Security numbers, health records, driver’s license numbers, or other highly sensitive personal identifiers unless required for a specific booking (e.g., certain venue reservations, government access) and only with your explicit consent.

2) How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  1. Provide services — Match you with Providers or make bookings on your behalf.

  2. Communicate with you — Confirm requests, send updates, and handle customer support.

  3. Process payments — Collect and pass payments to Providers or venues.

  4. Prevent fraud — Verify your identity when necessary.

  5. Improve our platform — Analyze usage and feedback to enhance services.

  6. Comply with laws — Respond to lawful requests or legal processes.

3) How We Share Your Information

We may share your information with:

  • Providers, venues, and third-party vendors we match or book you with.

  • Payment processors to complete your transactions.

  • Logistics and communication partners (e.g., email/SMS providers).

  • Law enforcement or regulators when legally required or to prevent fraud.

Once your information is shared with a Provider, venue, or third party to fulfill your request, we are not responsible for how they handle, store, or protect it—they operate under their own privacy policies and legal obligations.

4) Your Responsibilities Regarding Shared Information

  • You are responsible for providing accurate details needed for bookings.

  • If you provide false, incomplete, or misleading information, we are not liable for delays, cancellations, or additional costs.

  • You acknowledge that by requesting a booking or match, we must share your relevant details with the Provider, venue, or vendor.

5) Cookies & Tracking

We may use cookies, analytics tools, and similar technologies to:

  • Keep you logged in

  • Improve site performance

  • Measure traffic and usage trends

You can disable cookies in your browser, but some site functions may stop working.

6) Data Security

We implement safeguards such as encryption, secure servers, and access control. However, no system is 100% secure. By using our services, you accept the inherent risk of data transmission and storage.

7) Marketing & Communication

  • Transactional messages (service confirmations, updates) are mandatory for service delivery and cannot be opted out of.

  • Marketing messages (special offers, promotions) require your opt-in consent. You can unsubscribe anytime via provided links or by replying “STOP” to SMS messages.

8) Data Retention

We retain booking records, communications, and payment data for as long as needed for legal, tax, and operational purposes. We may anonymize data for analysis after this period.

9) Your Rights

Depending on your location (e.g., California CCPA, EU GDPR), you may:

  • Request access to your personal data.

  • Request deletion (subject to our legal and operational retention requirements).

  • Request correction of inaccurate information.

10) Minors

Our services are for users 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we learn we have inadvertently collected it, we will delete it promptly.

11) Liability Limitation for Privacy

Expressway is not liable for:

  • Actions, misuse, or breaches by Providers, venues, or vendors after we share your info at your request.

  • Data lost due to hacking, force majeure events, or actions outside our reasonable control.

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from privacy breaches.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid Expressway in the 30 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12) Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use of our services means you accept the new version.
